Revolvers[]
Revolvers are short range weapons. While not all revolvers have the Fanning shot ability, there are no other weapon types that have it. The Fanning ability fires three times with an accuracy penalty at a single enemy.

Pistols (2-Shot)[]
These have the ability to fire two shots in one turn, provided the character doesn't move that turn.

Shotguns[]
Shotguns are powerful at close range, and have the Cone shot ability. They do 1/3 damage against enemies in half cover instead of the usual 1/2.

Rifles[]
Rifles can reach out to medium range, but lose accuracy at close range.
Scoped Rifles[]
These are essentially sniper rifles in all but name. They are extremely accurate at long range, but have poor accuracy at short range. They have the Snipe ability, which improves accuracy even further for the cost of two action points. A unique feature is they do full damage to enemies behind half cover, and half damage to enemies behind full cover. On the downside, these rifles have to be reloaded after every shot.
