There are all sorts of different Combat styles in Hard West, by using different Weapons you can ricochet or curve bullets.
Weapon ranges range from close to long (Close, Short, Medium, and Long). All ranges except for "Close" have a minimum range, below which they suffer a significant penalty to accuracy. For this reason, it is advisable to carry both a close or short range weapon and a medium or long range weapon.
